Farid Aliyev was born in Avrora settlement of Lankaran, Azerbaijan, and currently lives in Baku. He has more than 13 years of international marine and offshore experience. Throughout his career, he has worked aboard different types of vessels and self-propelled jack-up platforms, gaining practical experience in marine operations, technical management, crew coordination and offshore projects.
The development of ASA Agency began in 2020, and the company officially commenced operations in 2024. Today, ASA Agency maintains a growing professional network involving more than 35 maritime companies and industry partners.
ASA Agency has a professional portfolio of more than 7,000 seafarers across different ranks and vessel categories. The agency supports maritime companies by identifying experienced candidates whose qualifications, documentation and availability match operational requirements.

Alongside his professional career, Farid Aliyev is married and a father of two children. He speaks six languages fluently, enabling effective communication with seafarers, shipowners and international partners from different countries.
